Delete your account

Delete PartnerUp and its associated data

1 Overview

You can delete your TRULY INC LIMITED (PARTNERUP)("PartnerUp") account and its associated data at any time. The fastest way is inside the app. If you can no longer sign in, for example because you removed the app or lost access to your device, you can ask us to delete your account using the request option below.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. This page works alongside our Privacy Policy.

2 Delete in the app

If you can sign in, this takes under a minute:

  1. Open PartnerUp and go to the Me tab (your profile).
  2. Scroll to the account settings and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm the two prompts.

Your account and its data are deleted immediately and you are signed out. If you only want to hide your profile temporarily, use Deactivate account instead, which keeps your data and lets you return later.

3Delete by request (if you can’t sign in)

If you can’t access the app, request deletion here. We email a confirmation link to the address on your PartnerUp account, and your account is deleted as soon as you confirm from that email, so only the account owner can ever complete it.

4 What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from the live Service, including:

  • your profile, including your name, date of birth, headline, prompt answers, links, photo, and pitch video;
  • your connections and matches, and your messages with them;
  • your shortlist, saved alerts, and daily picks;
  • your nudges, profile-view history, and notification preferences;
  • your co-founder toolkit content (checklists and role maps);
  • your saved push notification tokens and any feature suggestions you submitted;
  • your subscription association with our providers.

Your subscription is billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, so deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future charges.

5 What we keep, and for how long

After deletion we remove your data from the live Service, with a few limited exceptions:

  • Backups. Residual copies may remain in secure backups for a reasonable period before they are overwritten, typically within 90 days.
  • Safety and legal records. Where we must keep records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our Terms, we retain the minimum necessary, for example a record that an account was banned, or a report that involved your account. These carry no profile content once your account is deleted.
